ShoppingAds.com Who are they?
By · CommentsHey Readers,
I woke up this morning, and the first thing I did was to check my email.
( yes iam addicted to my emails)
To my surprise, I got a special invite from AuctionAds.com.
They wanted me to test their service. They are testing ShoppingAds.com.
It’s pretty much the same to Auctionads, but instead of ebay they are linked to a bunch of shopping sites, like Amazon.com.
The kewl thing is that they COMPARE the products, showing different prices. Actually giving value to your readers. This will only work if the product is of interest to the consumer.
HERE’S what it looks like:
At the moment I’am unsure how I am going to use this on my site. And what keywords I will use.
Using the keyword “portable memory” and I get women purses?!?!. I see they are still working on some bugs.
Iam sure this will be a VERY GOOD service to sites that have a more targeted audience then mine.
Anyways i’ll let your know my results.

Halo 3 Marketing
By · CommentsWe all can learn a thing a from such a well marketed product like halo 3

Microsoft Corp. last week said its “Halo 3″ video game rang a record-smashing $170 million in retail sales in 24 hours!
They offered a Pre-Sale months before the product was even launched. This helped with measuring demand for the product and helps reduces cost of overproduction.
Their a Product launch which was hugely successful.
They did they via teaser commericals, online videos, other adversitments, and tons of other promotional goodies.
More ways they earned….. The UPSELL!
They offered 2 different upsells
“The limited edition” for $10 more which came with dvd and
the “collectors edition” which came with dvds and a mini helment for around $150

Of course Stores wanted you to buy it from them instead of a competitor. So stores offered free goodies when you bought it from them. Future Shop offers you Fantasic Four Game as a bonus and at Best Buy gave away a free Poster, T-shirt, and microphone. I’am sure other stores offed other prizes
This is for all those internet marketers who are crazy for affilate marketing and product launches
Auction Ads Earnings for My Arcade
By · Commentsfor the past month, I have been playing around with Auction Ads on my arcade site to see what kind of impact it would have on the revenue.
here you can see my results.
Basiclly, I got only 211 clicks witch is very low for the seer amount impressions I’ve gotten. With a GRAND TOTAL of $0.45
On average I earn $0.06 per click with google. Making potential earnings with google at $12.66, Safe to say that I won’t be using Them for this application any more
On side note, I’ve noticed that since school is back in session my earnings with proxies and arcades have had a huge boost in value per click
.
Thanks,
Brad
