OHHHH the HORROR!

Well Look no further Leak-Be-Gone is here
{insert cheezey infomercial music here}

I have a weird way in explaining it.

The more weird it is the easier it is to remember, right…?

What is Google PR?
Overall it’s Google ranking your sites valve on a
scale 1 to 10. 10 Being the best,
and 0 being a brand new site.

I like to think of it as a Popularity contest,
The more people talk about you (links).
The more value you have (higher rankings).

Now if the hottest girl starts about you (authority sites, high PR)
Your popularity grows bigger (you rank higher in Google)

NOW when you Talk about other people (give links)
You lose some of your PR, Which I call a link leak
Sometimes you Want them, Other times You Don’t.

Watch my Video for a better explanation and leave comments ==>

———— Stop Those Leaks —————–
The easy way with wordpress:
- Virtual Silo for wordpress
—————————————————–
How to Use the NoFollow Tag :
Just Put — rel = “nofollow” in you link code. Just like Below….

< a href = "somelink.com" rel="nofollow" > NoLinkJuiceForYOU < /a>

*Notice the ref=”nofollow”*
——————————————————-

Moral of the story, get lots of high PR link love and
be careful who you share it with

Thanks for Rob for bringing up the question from my seo wordpress plugin post.
As I forget that most people have no clue WTF, I am talking about half the time. lol.

Today I was wondering what else mybloglog could do besides showing pictures of recent visitors.

Mybloglog.com widget ads personaliztion to your blog.
It lets readers feel like they left a mark on the page.

Gives you the ability to check out who’s checking you out.

Now the stuff above is just fluff. Here’s the really kewl part, while I was fooling around in my account i clicked the stats button to see the stats. I always thought it just showed who clicked on the widget and people coming from the thebloglog.
<img src="http://bradburnie.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/mybloglog.gif" alt="MyBlogLog Stats" / height="260" width="550"/>
Well well well i was wrong. It shows some very interesting stats. The coolest stats it was showing me was how many people click on my link from GOOGLE with the keyword they used. To my surprise I *was*

ranked #1 for consolidation loan,
ranked#3 for cheap criminal lawyer
and a bunch of other terms.

The kewl thing about this is that I wasn’t even trying to rank for this words!
Without this MyBloglog I would have never known I was getting these rankings
(my current stats don’t show this much detail).

Thanks for Reading!
-Brad

P.S. this is another another reason to get the MyBlogLog.com widget on your site today! stop slacking and geter done!

——————————————————————————–
Hey readers,

People keep asking me the same questions, so iam gonna repost this for all the proxy users

The last time i said what my keywords were, I had 4 competitors pop up the next week.
( and i got a hacked ).

Now it’s even harder to protect my position in google.

Safe to say, iam not gonna give you my keywords

Getting #1 was pretty easy for me, ( took a 3 months to reach thou)

Step One

Get a domain that has your keyword in it, i.e keyword = “youtube proxy“, so Then get a domain like, myyoutubeproxy.com, funnyyoutubeproxy.com, myfreshyoutubeproxy.com… etc etc…

Step Two
Next you need to make sure that your keywords are repeated multiple times within the content of your pages.

For example, This is my youtube proxy. You can watch youtube videos with it through. Bypass your school blocks by using my youtube proxy. Blah blah balh… youtube proxy…blahblah blah… etc….

I think you get the point.

Step Three
LINKS! get as many sites linking towords yours using your keywords.

For example.

My Youtube Proxy

See how when I link it, the KEYWORDS are shown!

Next… your thinking how am i gonna get links pointing to me?
Well this is the software iam using.

It has over 2000 link directories for you to submit your site too
it’s FREE

Now this takes time….. but if you DO IT, you will rank high in the search engines. Think about it, with a few hours of work, you can be
ranked in the top 10 of the search engines.

I only run 1 website earning $10-20/day, Now iam making MORE
Can you imagine having 100 sites earning $10/day… $1000 a day!

Just keep building people!

KEEP YOUR KEYWORDS/EARNINGS SECRET to protect yourself from competition!

THANKS
—————————–

Hey readers,

My next goal,

To try to rank #1 for the term “learn to snowboard”
to make sure my method works and the first time was not a fluke.

Again how Iam i going to do this?
With off-page optimization tatics!

The site iam trying to rank #1 is www.snowboardacademy.com
And every time someone links to the site, we need them to use the words “learn to snowboard”

Thus the link should look like this Learn to Snowboard

Why the term “learn to snowboard”?
I research the term using overture and the competition is weak
and has a high traffic count per month. Plus it’s highly targeted audience
that the site is trying to capture.

Hey Readers,

I’ve have come across this great little program that will allow you to submit your articles to over 660 sites at an incredible speed. I have always knew the power of articles, but submitting them was a huge pain in the ass. And I’ll end up only submitting them to only a handful of websites. I highly recommend you check it out the FREE SOFTWARE HERE , It will make your life easier, and does the same stuff that the $200 softwares does.

Why is article marketing so important in 2007?
If you follow the seo forums, you’ll notice that an old search engine marketing strategy is now suddenly everyone’s “seo strategy” of choice. Yes, I’m talking about article marketing.

With everyone even remotely interested in achieving decent search engine rankings turning to article marketing, it is critical for your website’s success that you fully understand what traditional article marketing is about and how you can benefit from it. Note that as search engines become smarter with reciprocal links, article marketing – especially the sort of marketing that guarantees good results – will require some expert knowledge.

In the rest of this lesson, I’ll show you:
1. How traditional article marketing works
2. The right way to do article marketing

Traditional article marketing works something like this:
You write (or pay someone to write it) a 600-word article, take out a list of 100-200 article directories, and submit your article to all of them (or you could hire someone to do that as well). In a week or so, your article is accepted and published by the article directories, not to mention thousands of websites who pick up articles from these directories.

Then, after a week or two of submitting the article, search engines pick it up and suddenly see hundreds, if not thousands, of new links to your site. Your ranking benefits thanks to the sheer number of links you’ve built.

Over a period of time, after several article submissions, you notice an improvement in your search engine rankings at the next algorithm update. Yes, those links have made all the difference, and now your site is starting to get higher search engine placement.

If you want maximum results for your article marketing, you would be best served by adopting the following main tactic:

Use articles as link building tools
First: Submit your articles to the top article directories, in the category that is the closest match to your topic. Over time you will notice that other websites pick up and display your articles. Once this happens…

Next: You should contact the owners of those websites and tell them that you will write a unique article SPECIFICALLY for their website. In this article, guess what you’ll do? You’ll include an in text link using your chosen anchor text that will point directly to your main money web page.

Using this method to get quality links is one of the very best, and very little used methods of getting high quality links to your websites.

Avoiding Duplicate Content Penalties
Ideally, you shouldn’t publish articles that you submit on your own website – this “may” help you avoid the duplicate content penalty a bit. On the other hand, this does not address the concern that carbon copies of your article will suddenly pop up in hundreds of places on the Internet. To deal with this, you can use one or more of the following techniques:

1. Post the article on your website, and wait for it to be indexed by the major search engines before you submit it to the article directories.

2. Post the full article on your website and submit “ half ” of it to the article directories (works best if you have a 1000 words+ article).

3. Have your writer create a second, different version of the article. Then, you can submit that version to the directories while keeping the original on your site.

Deep Linking
Instead of just putting links to your main site page, link to a few inner pages of your site from within the article text. Of course, the inner pages must be relevant to the article topic. This will help spread the link popularity you receive throughout the site. Deep links are one of the ways search engines use to evaluate the value of links.

Themed Links
Use different articles for different purposes. For example, you could have one article promoting your main website, another promoting your new book (and linking to the order page), and yet another article linking to your newsletter signup page. The key is to remember that articles also mean traffic, and along with deep links, getting traffic to the key money-making areas of your site is very important.

Article marketing is very powerful. Use it to its fullest…

Today offically iam making a dollar a day with google adsense.

I have started this with two websites 3 months ago. The two sites I built were an arcade and a proxy. When I first started I was only making $0.01 a day, now it’s now almost reaches $2 a day for both websites. Linking to build traffic is the key to the success of websites. It naturally happened with my zombie website. I found out that people in video game forums, like resident evil forums, found my site and started to link to it. GREAT STUFF!

This is my method:
1. Fill a need
2. GIVE VALUE
3. Make sure you have interest in it
4. Keep building it……..IT TAKES TIME!

Fill A NEED
I always had a hard time finding zombie games when i was in class during college. I got soo frustraded so iam like, I’ll just build it my self. And that’s excatly what i did. I build it being SEO, and had naturally linking which boosted me to the top of other “zombie sites” with higher PR rank and much older sites.

This is what one member says:

Yello. I’ve been looking everwhere for a good zombie game site and I found this. Shaun of The Dead is my favorite zombie flick, as you can see. My favorite zombie games are The Last Stand and any of the Boxhead games. Braaaiiiiiiiinnnsss…

GIVE VALUE
I only had ZOMBIE games, I refused to games that weren’t related to zombies (others laughed at me for that). And guest what? i have more passionate members then just a gerenic arcade site, i proved them wrong

Make Sure your Interesting in It!
Why i’ve had many sites… i would build the site, which… then lose interest in about a week would lost interest. It takes months before you’ll see REAL RESULTS. ( well some see it instantly, iam working towards that point)

You my be thinking, a dollar a day wtf that’s not even enough to buy myself a coffee. Well I have finally took action committed to my website which is a big step for me. I have soo many ideas, i’ve finally starting to manifest them into reality. This proves to me that this system works. Wheres the real money?

If i make a 100 websites = 100$ a day! …. not so small now is it?

1. Iam listed #6 on google for the term “zombie games”
2. getting over 1000 hits a day for one site,
3. IAM MAKING MONEY!!

Alot of people have been asking what does PageRank mean and does it matter?

Well first this is what google says PageRank is:

PageRank Explained

PageRank relies on the uniquely democratic nature of the web by using its vast link structure as an indicator of an individual page’s value. In essence, Google interprets a link from page A to page B as a vote, by page A, for page B. But, Google looks at considerably more than the sheer volume of votes, or links a page receives; for example, it also analyzes the page that casts the vote. Votes cast by pages that are themselves “important” weigh more heavily and help to make other pages “important.” Using these and other factors, Google provides its views on pages’ relative importance.

Of course, important pages mean nothing to you if they don’t match your query. So, Google combines PageRank with sophisticated text-matching techniques to find pages that are both important and relevant to your search. Google goes far beyond the number of times a term appears on a page and examines dozens of aspects of the page’s content (and the content of the pages linking to it) to determine if it’s a good match for your query.

Basicly, For everyone else this means the bigger your PageRank, it helps your “keywords” rank higher in the search engine rankings.

So, Should you focus on this? …No, not really

Why you ask?
Well this will happen naturally with a good white hat link tactics
